Born and raised in the North Country, Joey Sweatt has spent his career helping people buy and sell property in the place he proudly calls home. As the owner and broker of A Notch Above Real Estate, Joey combines local knowledge, strategic marketing, and decades of experience to help buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals throughout northern New Hampshire and Vermont.

A proud 1997 graduate of Colebrook Academy, Joey went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business from Champlain College. He began his professional career in marketing and property restoration, developing the problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and client-focused approach that continue to define his business today.

Since entering real estate in 2005, Joey has built a reputation for delivering results through strong negotiation, market expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service. In 2017, he founded A Notch Above Real Estate with a simple belief: clients deserve honest advice, clear communication, and an advocate who always puts their interests first. That philosophy remains at the heart of every transaction the company handles.

Joey specializes in marketing and selling residential homes, waterfront properties, recreational camps, large acreage parcels, trail-access properties, and investment real estate throughout Coös County, New Hampshire, and Essex County, Vermont. His deep understanding of the local market, combined with innovative marketing strategies and proven pricing expertise, has helped make him one of the region's most trusted and successful brokers.

Outside of real estate, Joey enjoys pursuing several lifelong travel goals, including visiting all 50 U.S. State Capitols, touring every Presidential Library, and attending a home game for every major professional sports team in the country. A passionate college basketball fan, he rarely misses an opportunity to attend conference tournaments, NCAA Tournament games, and the Women's Final Four.
